Biographical and Historical Note

The Wake Forest University Club, in existence from 1944-2002, was an organization that hosted and organized events "to inform, to entertain, and to promote social contact among the University community." The University Club organized events such as the New Student's Reception, Film Night, Theater Night, the Spring Dance, and many others for University faculty. Membership in the club was open to "faculty women, faculty wives, salaries female staff members and wives of salaried staff members employed in the offices of the university."
