When the Wake Forest school of Medicine moved from Wake Forest to Winston-Salem in 1941, the hospital ceased operations as did the Hospital Committee.</abstract>

      <p>The Wake Forest Hospital Committee oversaw certain functions of the Wake Forest College Hospital during its operation. The College Hospital, founded in 1902, served Wake Forest students and local patrons and was used by the Wake Forest School of Medicine. When the School of Medicine moved from Wake Forest to Winston-Salem in 1941, the hospital ceased operations as did the Hospital Committee.</p>
