      <head>Historical Note</head>
      <p>WFU's Chemistry Department is a research-centered, interdisciplinary science department at the University. It offers an accredtted Master's program as well as four undergraduate majors and concentrations. Gamma Sigma Epsilon wass a national chemical fraternity to promote academic excellence and undergraduate research scholarship. In 1931, GSE became co-ed honor society and WFU's chapter is active today.</p>
