Since its beginnings in 1894, WFU School of Law has advertised its programs, communicated a vision, and promoted an identity as a leader in legal education. This collection documents the law school's public relations, media, and communications through the years. Materials include an undated informational pamphlet and a school history from 1943 to 1983.
Biographical and Historical Note
WFU's School of Law has a long history of communicating a vision with the public in order to recruit students, foster professional networks, and promote an identity as a leader in legal education. Today, the Marketing and Communications Department handles much of the public relations work. The department is located in the Worrell Professional Center and handles communication for the law school, the dean, faculty and staff, and specific educational programs.

Collection Overview
This collection includes a photocopy of an informational pamphlet about the Wake Forest College School of Law, authored by E. B. Earnshaw who served as Bursar and Secretary to the Board of Trustees from the early 1900s to 1952. A history of the school from 1943 to 1983 by Cama Clarkson Merritt is also present.
