Biographical and Historical Note
Wake Forest University Board of Trustees is part of the University's governance structure. At WFU, ultimate decision-making authority lies in the privately appointed Board of Trustees. The Board provides leadership in the ongoing process of shaping University goals and ensuring those goals are met. Board committees include Academic, Administration, Athletics, Audit and Compliance, Bylaws, Compensation, Executive, Finance, Advancement and Communications, Health Affairs, and Investment Committees. The Board of Trustees appoints and oversees the University President.
