The University Registrar office manages student enrollment, status, and course schedules. Prior to University administrative rearrangement in the middle of the twentieth century, the Registrar oversaw student financial aid and donations to the University in addition to courses and student grades. This collection contains records documenting baccalaureate, commencement, and convocation ceremonies at Wake Forest University. The materials include invitations, programs, speeches, tickets, and other related ephemera.

Biographical and Historical Note

The University Registrar office manages student enrollment, status, and course schedules. Prior to University administrative functioning in the middle of the twentieth century, the Registrar oversaw student financial aid and donations to the University in addition to courses and student grades.

As of 2015, the Office of the University Registrar serves the WFU academic community and reports to the Provost. The office's mission statement states "Our principal responsibility is to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of student academic records/data and to provide various record services."
