This collection documents the "Wake the eBooks" conference, held by Wake Forest Digital Publishing, that occured in the summer of 2016 in collaboration with Library Partners Press. Items in this collection include bookmarks, promotional fliers, packets, and books.
Biographical and Historical Note
The First Bookfeast event was hosted by Wake Forest Digital Publishing on April 23, 2015. It included readings and speeches given by independent publishers and authors. In the summer of 2016, a larger conference entitled "Wake the eBooks" was held for the first time and included a series of literary events. No more appear to have been held since.
Library Partners Press is a small publishing organization located at Wake Forest University that pursues the publication of creative non-fiction works. Material types include bookmarks, promotional fliers, packets, and books.
