Biographical and Historical Note

Wake Forest University's undergraduate business program was established in 1948, as the department of business administration. The Babcock Graduate School of Management opened in 1969. In 1980, the school became the School of Business and Accountancy. In 1995, the school was named after former PepsiCo Chief Executive Officer Wayne Calloway. In 2008, Wake Forest University's Babcock Graduate School of Management and Calloway School of Business and Accountancy were combined to become the Schools of Business; that division was renamed School of Business in 2013. WFU's School of Business has over 20 clubs and a Leadership Series that hosts leaders on campus, including corporate chief executive officers, Congressional representatives, and former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher.
