Biographical and Historical Note

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions communicates with, admits, and enrolls new students to the university. From approximately 2001 through July 2019, Martha Belvins Allman served as head of admissions: first as director, and later as dean. Beginning in 2019, Eric Maguire assumed the position of Vice President for Enrollment, and Martha Allman accepted the role of Senior Assistant Provost.

Collection Overview

This collection documents the work of WFU's Office of Undergraduate Admissions. Materials in this collection include brochures, informational books, pamphlets, applications, undergraduate bulletins, stickers, and videos on compact disc, as well as College Day program files for student recruitment. A small number of student admissions files with some information redacted are also present, as evidence of what admissions related correspondence looked like in the 1970s.
