Biographical and Historical Note
Campus planning and space mangement is an ongoing enterprise at WFU, as the student body and campus buildings evolve over time. As of 2024, this work is part of the division of Facilities and Campus Services, overseen by an Associate Vice President of Planning, Real Estate, and Space Management.
The University Space Planning Group was created by President Susan R. Wente in August, 2022. Provost Michele Gillespie and Executive Vice President Hof Milam are the chairs of the USPG, which is composed of senior University leaders with oversight for significant University physical assets. This group included the Vice President for Planning and Construction.
