The course explores the broad array of information sources in various formats and disciplines, and emphasizes the organization, efficient retrieval, and critical evaluation of electronic and print information. Students in this sections of the course, taught by Instruction and Outreach Meghan Webb, create zines about a research topic. A zine is a small-circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images.</p> </bioghist> <scopecontent id="ref5"> <head>Collection Overview</head> <p>This collection includes zines from the LIB 100 course during the Fall 2017 semester.</p> </scopecontent> <dsc> <c id="ref7" level="file"> <did> <unittitle>Student zines</unittitle> <container id="cid1991001" type="Box" label="Mixed materials">1</container> <container parent="cid1991001" type="Folder">1-2</container> <unitdate normal="2017/2017">2017 Fall</unitdate> </did> </c> </dsc> </archdesc> </ead>
