The Z. Smith Reynolds Library is the main library for Wake Forest University and is located on its Reynolda Campus in Winston-Salem, N.C. The library regularly holds events and exhibits to promote the library, its holdings, and the work of faculty, staff and students. This collection documents events and exhibits from 1989-2017.
Biographical and Historical Note
Z. Smith Reynolds (ZSR) Library is the main library for Wake Forest University and is located on its Reynolda Campus in Winston-Salem, N.C. ZSR Library opened in 1956, and its Wilson Wing opened in 1991. The library is named for Zachary Smith Reynolds, the youngest child of R.J. Reynolds, founder of the R.J. Reynolds tobacco company. The library regularly holds events and exhibits to promote the library throughout the campus. These include luncheons to celebrate retirees, exhibits on a variety of subjects, and lectures.
