Biographical and Historical Note
The Wake Forest Baptist Student Union (BSU) was founded in 1921 on the original Wake Forest, North Carolina, campus. When WFU made the move from Wake Forest to Winston-Salem in 1956, the BSU occupied a space in Kitchin Residence Hall and has remained there since then. The BSU's mission is to create and nuture innovative faith communities for Wake's students. Common events for the organization include dinners with guest speakers, mission trips, and retreats among other activities.
