- This collection documents meetings of the Board of Trustees of Wake Forest College (University) and the Executive Committee of the Board. The contents of these folders consist primarily of meeting minutes and agendas, but also included are microfilm reels of minutes, copies of minutes, notes, meeting notices, faculty and staff appointments, budget materials, recommendations to the Board, resolutions, correspondence, and other supporting documents.
- Carey Johnson Hunter was an alumnus of Wake Forest College (Class of 1881). He worked for an insurance company in Raleigh and served on the Wake Forest College Board of Trustees, 1895-1923, as Chairman of the Executive Committee and the Investments Committee.
