- Dr. John Allen Easley was a Baptist pastor for the U.S. Army and in South Carolina and Kentucky. He served as Chaplain (1928-1938) and Professor and Chairman of the Department of Religion (1938-1963) at Wake Forest College. His papers include biographical information, genealogical information on the Easley and Robertson families, correspondence, financial and legal documents, sermon notes and notebooks, travel journals, writings, Wake Forest College lecture, teaching, and administrative files, and subject files.
- This collection contains the manuscripts and correspondence of Laurence Stallings, writer and Wake Forest College alumnus. It also contains numerous reviews and newspaper clippings collected by Stallings, motion picture ephemera, personal memorabilia, and materials from his military service. An large portion of the collection is dedicated to the many drafts and revisions of his final book, The Doughboys.
- The Phillips family was established in Stokes County, N.C. and multiple generations of the family are tied to both the county and Wake Forest College, later University. Wake Forest alumni in the family include John. Y Phillips (1875), Matthew Dalton Phillips Sr. (1875), Albert Rufus Phillips (1913), Matthew Dalton Phillips Jr. (1914), and Anne Radford Phillips (1958). Materials include artifacts, biographical and genealogical information, correspondence, educational materials, financial and legal documents, notebooks, personal writings, photographs, programs, subject files, and sermons.
- William Louis Poteat was a Wake Forest alumnus (1877), biology professor, and President of Wake Forest College (1905-1927). This collection documents Poteat's professional life as a professor and College president. Materials include biographical information and materials, article and news clippings, correspondence dated 1878-1947, diaries, glass laboratory slide images featuring biological samples, honorary degrees, photographs and negatives, scrapbooks, subject files, writings and speeches dated 1876-1937, and a 1928 memoir.
