- John Thomas Alderman (1853-1932) was an educator and Baptist historian in North Carolina. This collection consists of biographical information, articles, personal correspondence, biographies of N.C. Baptists, church and association historical notes and materials, and general materials related to Baptists and his work.
- Melville Lewis Jones was a field worker for the Pilot Mountain Baptist Association for Sunday School and Baptist Training Union promotion, 1925-1929, and later for the Mount Zion Baptist Association, 1929-1936. The collection contains correspondence, newspaper clippings, photographs, checks, receipts, notebooks, programs, and bulletins.

This collection contains biographical information on Baptist pastors and historical information on the Baptist churches in the South Yadkin Baptist Association.
