This collection includes records from Hamer Creek Baptist Church, May 5, 1861, to November 1873, and from the reorganization of the church as Mount Gilead First Baptist Church, December 25, 1875, to 1971. Material types include a constitution, articles of faith, rules of decorum, meeting minutes, financial notes, and male, female, and black membership rolls.
