He later served as Professor of Education and administrator in several positions at Wake Forest College. His papers consist of biographical and family files, memoirs, speeches and addresses, a small amount of correspondence, typescript copies of family correspondence and his reports to the President of Wake Forest College as a Field Agent for the Building Fund. Most of the collection consists of documents pertaining to the reprinting effort made by Dr. Memory for John Charles McNeill's poetry.
