Biographical and Historical Note
The Little Conetoe Creek Primitive Baptist Church is located eight miles southeast of Tarboro, N.C. The church was constituted July 18, 1803 by Elders Joseph Biggs, Jonathan Chery, and Joshua Barnes. The church had formerly been an arm of Flat Swamp (1776). The church was admitted into the Kehukee Association in 1803. Thomas Ross was their first pastor.

Collection Overview
This volume contains a church covenant and charter membership list (1803), decorum, church meeting minutes (1823-1885), a memorial (1883), and financial records (1872-1874, 1866-1871). It is handwritten in a hardcover notebook which has loose binding and leaves, and stains on the yellowed paper. The front cover and spine are missing.
