Biographical and Historical Note

The WFU School of Law established both Phi Alpha Delta and Phi Alpha Phi chapters in the years after World War II. Phi Delta Phi is the oldest legal fraternity in the United States, and Phi Alpha Delta is the largest legal fraternity in the United States. WFU's Phi Alpha Delta chapter remains active today. There are currently undergraduate and professional school chapters on the Wake Forest campus. Local chapters are governed by an elected executive board. The organization supports students through networking, education, professional development, and leadership opportunities.
