Phi Delta Phi is the oldest legal fraternity in the United States, and Phi Alpha Delta is the largest legal fraternity in the United States. WFU's Phi Alpha Delta chapter remains active today. There are currently undergraduate and professional school chapters on the Wake Forest campus. Local chapters are governed by an elected executive board. The organization supports students through networking, education, professional development, and leadership opportunities.</p> <p>Sources:</p> <list> <item><title render="italic"><part>The History of Wake Forest College, Volume IV, 1943-1947,</part></title> Available online at <ref actuate="onrequest" href="http://hdl.handle.net/10339/33249" show="new">http://hdl.handle.net/10339/33249</ref></item> </list> <p>"Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity," Available online at https://www.pad.org/</p> </bioghist> <scopecontent id="aspace_7b3a6b24d758b7bd7efc24529c9703db"> <head>Collection Overview</head> <p>Material in this collection relates to legal fraternity history and includes a Phi Delta Phi consitution from 1964.</p> </scopecontent> <prefercite id="aspace_713570d05abf6acca535c5af7be4f25f"> <head>Preferred Citation</head> <p>School of Law.
