Gulley, who taught the first classes in 1894 and also served as the first dean. The school notes that by 1931, approximately half of attorneys in North Carolina had been taught by Dean Gulley. He remained at Wake Forest for 44 years. Today, Wake Forest University School of Law includes over 50 staff and more than 100 resident and adjunct faculty members. Faculty have expertise in various areas of law and typically pair research with teaching. Many faculty are world-renowned scholars, producing work that impacts the development and application of law all over the world.</p> <p>Sources:</p> <list> <item>"Celebrating 125 Years," <title render="italic"><part>Wake Forest Law.</part></title> Available online at <ref actuate="onrequest" href="https://law.wfu.edu/stories/2019/125-years/" show="new">https://law.wfu.edu/stories/2019/125-years/</ref></item> </list> <p>"Faculty - Overview," Wake Forest Law.
