- Benson Field Cole was a Wake Forest College alumnis (1856), who died in late 1856. This collection contains two items from Cole's time as a Wake Forest student: a photocopied diary and a notebook containing course notes for philosophy and chemistry courses taught by William Gaston Simmons. It also contains clippings about Cole from the .
- Joseph Conrad Watkins, also known as J.C. Watkins, graduated from Wake Forest College in 1897, and later served as a College trustee. These papers consist of a grade report, November 15, 1894; and a letter from W.W. Ward, circa August 29, 1895, turning his scholarship over to Watkins with a note by Charles E. Taylor on the bottom of the letter.
- Joseph Conrad Watkins, Jr. was an alumnus of Wake Forest College (1924). His father graduated from Wake Forest in 1897 and was given an honorary doctorate in 1922. This collection contains Watkins' Wake Forest College scrapbook, 1920-1923; his father's and mother's obituary sketches (1957, 1959) and diplomas from the Salem Boys School (1898), Wake Forest College (1897, 1922) and Salem Academy (1898); and Richard Montague Watkins's diploma from Mars Hill College (1925).
- Rufus Walter Dalton, Jr. was a native of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He served in the U.S. Navy from August 19, 1943, to March 10, 1946, and attended Wake Forest College, 1947-1948. This collection contains personal memorabilia related to his youth in Winston-Salem and service in the U.S. Navy during World War Two.
- Thomas Slade, native of Rockingham County, North Carolina attended Wake Forest College, 1848-53. He later taught school at the Trinity Academy, Caswell County, North Carolina, 1854-; and in Marion and Macon counties in Ala., 1856-59. In 1859 he is listed as a planter living at Lennox Castle, Rockingham County, North Carolina. Mr. Slade was born Jan. 5, 1830 and died Dec. 24, 1904. He was married to Miss Sunie Howard of Ala. They had one son and one daughter.
