- Dr. John Allen Easley was a Baptist pastor for the U.S. Army and in South Carolina and Kentucky. He served as Chaplain (1928-1938) and Professor and Chairman of the Department of Religion (1938-1963) at Wake Forest College. His papers include biographical information, genealogical information on the Easley and Robertson families, correspondence, financial and legal documents, sermon notes and notebooks, travel journals, writings, Wake Forest College lecture, teaching, and administrative files, and subject files.

Corpening worked in the Office of Development from 1969 until his retirement in 2004. The collection spans from 1946 to 1969 and contains artifacts, biogrpahical information, correspondence, educational materials, sermons, subject files, and writings. Corpening died in 2014.
