The library entrance will be temporarily relocated.
Summer will be a busy time at the Z. Smith Reynolds Library with renovations taking place in several areas of the building. The two 24-hour study rooms will be completely renovated with a coffee shop on one side and a new quiet study area on the other. Our Current Periodicals collection has been moved to the Reference area. The Johnson Room will be transformed into a graduate student lounge, and the former Current Periodicals Room on the 4th floor will be a spacious study area with all new furnishings. The reading room near Reference has been designated the Allen Mandelbaum Reading Room and is decorated with memorabilia from his distinguished career. During the construction, the library entrance will be temporarily relocated to the west side of the library atrium. Please pardon our dust during the summer as we transform library spaces into a more user-friendly environment!
