Interlibrary Loan

Am I eligible?

Interlibrary loan is available to WFU faculty, staff, and students. This particular page has information on interlibrary loan service to patrons served by the ZSR Library. The Professional Center Library and Carpenter Library have their own interlibrary loan services.

How do I place a request?

Log in to your ZSR Delivers account and fill out the appropriate request form. Alternately, you can follow the WFU Full Text Options link from a database and choose the interlibrary loan (ILL) option.

What can I request?

We will try to obtain almost any type of library material – please keep in mind some things are more difficult to get. We will not request textbooks or items that are currently available through Course Reserves.

How long does it take to get something through interlibrary loan?

Physical items (books, DVDs, microforms…) usually take at least a week. Articles and book chapters take substantially less time because they are delivered electronically. If you are in a hurry, please call us at 336-758-5006.

How much does it cost?

There is no charge for the interlibrary loan service.

Office Delivery and Article Scanning

Am I eligible?

This service is for faculty and staff served by ZSR Library.

How do I place a request?

Search for an item in the library catalog and click on the For Faculty and Staff link. Alternately, you can log in to your ZSR Delivers account and fill out the appropriate request form.

How long does it take?

Physical items should arrive within 48 hours during the week. We deliver physical items daily Monday through Friday (weather permitting). Articles are scanned and sent via email and should arrive within 12-24 hours of request (during the week). If you are in a hurry, please call us at 336-758-5006.

How much does it cost?

There is no charge for this service.
