Open Access Fund
Transforming the Scholarly Publishing Landscape
The Z. Smith Reynolds Library has established a fund of $6,500 to provide assistance to Reynolda Campus faculty in paying the publication fees charged by open access journals. Under a new cost-sharing arrangement, the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs and the Library will each pay one third of the costs. The final third will be sought from the author's home department, or through existing campus-wide publishing support opportunities.
Priority will be given to faculty who do not have grant funding to pay for these expenses. Please see the fund criteria for full details.
