In July, 2005, the NC Writers Conference was held at the ZSR Library.
We put together a large number of books of NC writers and poets in the exhibits cases. We were also fortunate to have the photographs of Jan Hensley, who gave us photos to place in the RKC Reading Room. these images were of North Carolina’s leading poets and writers including Fred Chappel, Robert Morgan, Kathryn Stripling Byer, and others.
