The fall 2010 ZSR Library Lecture Series kicks off on Tuesday, September 28, at a special location. Our first event will take place at the Reynolda House Museum of American Art, where managing curator Allison Slaby will lead a guided tour of the museum’s fall exhibition of nineteenth-century genre art. The other lectures will take place at the ZSR Library. Topics scheduled for this semester include:
- Teaching French songs,
- A panel discussion of the potential repeal of the “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” ban on gays in the military,
- The process of writing an author’s biography, and
- Hollywood’s representation of teachers in film.
