Those of you who use the East Entrance to ZSR have seen the three new student murals along that entrance. These murals were done by students in Alix Hitchcock’s Intermediate Drawing 211 class in the Fall of 2010. These three murals join the two murals from the previous year when ZSR held a student mural contest. The three new murals are:

“Getting Lost in the Forest” by Lauren Lukacsko

“Behind the Scenes” by Alex Crossman and Emily Hudspeth

We are very happy to have had the opportunity to collaborate with Prof Hitchcock and her students on this project. We hope to have more opportunities for this type of collaboration in the future. Additionally, I want to thank Craig Fansler, who helped guide this project to completion, and the marketing committee for coming up with the idea for murals in the East entrance to ZSR!
