Since 2009, I have been managing the Current Periodicals collection in the Reference Dept. Over the summer, I led the planning and shifting of the Current Periodicals collection in addition to making enough space for business print periodicals, which will be moved over from the Professional Center Library. I worked with Chris Burris, Bob Hebert, Carol Cramer and Roz Tedford and created a plan for shifting the Current Periodicals collection. I am happy to report that the Current Periodicals Shifting Project has been completed. We finished ahead of schedule, and over 1,400 print journals were shifted over 4 days with help from student assistants. New signs of call number ranges for each row of shelves have also been posted in time before the fall semester begins. Thanks to everyone who helped with this project.
