On Tuesday, August 17th, the ZSR Library hosted our first big in-person outreach event since March 2020! Game Night @ ZSR was an evening event filled with board games, card games, and awesome trivia courtesy of John Champlin’s famous “Wake, Wake, don’t tell me!” Over 120 students from five different pre-orientation camps attended! We’ve got over 100 photos from the event posted on Flickr! Thanks to our WFU/ZSR volunteers, Roz Tedford, Mary Beth Lock, Tanya Zanish-Belcher, Joy Gambill, Chris Burris, Carolyn McCallum, and Barry Davis. Also many thanks to ZSR student assistant, Amy Zinnia for her wonderful photography skills! Finally, a very special thanks to outreach and instruction librarian, Meghan Webb, the curator of our new board game collection in ZSR, who made this event possible! It was wonderful to host an in-person event and kick off Fall 2021! We look forward to hosting our next game night in late September of 2021!
