Thanks to an incredible team effort across ZSR, we now have a collection of board games ready for checkout! While ZSR has had games available for students on Wilson 4 for over a year, it’s only recently, after conversations with students from the board game club and others at ZSR, that we came up with a list of games to make available for checkout. Selecting the games was only the start of the process! The Public Services team determined the processes required for housing and circulating these games, and thanks to the Resource Services team, these items were cataloged and added to the collection! As a start for this collection, we’ve added the 11 games below with plans to expand the collection if circulation statistics show demand. Thanks to everyone at ZSR who made this possible!
See the complete list in the catalog:
- Catan + expansion pack
- Uno
- Chess
- Azul
- Mahjong
- Monopoly (electronic bank edition)
- Scrabble
- Risk (Lord of the Rings edition)
- Clue
- Pandemic
- Apples to Apples

So cool! Great work everyone!
And for anyone who hasn’t tried Lord of the Rings RISK… my opinion is that it’s more fun than the original! 🙂
Yay! And I didn’t know about the cool electronic banking version of Monopoly until now! (Never too old to learn!)
Thanks for working together to make this a reality! I’m thrilled that we can provide these kinds of ways to take study breaks.
How much fun! I started a board games club at Whitaker Elementary School. Fun for all!
