Replacement of an aging HVAC unit in ZSR Library’s Reynolds wing on the 8th floor will periodically cause some disruption in ZSR starting Monday, February 27th until early April. On Tuesday February 28th from 7am-5pm, the circle in front of the library will be blocked off to both vehicle and pedestrian traffic while a crane is utilized to lift equipment to the roof of ZSR.

The front entrance to ZSR Library will be closed and foot traffic will be diverted to the west entrance (across from Salem Hall) and the east entrance (into Camino.) ADA access will be through the west side atrium doors.

From February 27th until the project completes in early April, the HVAC installation will cause periods of noise most noticeable in the Reynolds wing and some study spaces on the 8th floor will be cordoned off. In addition, there will be construction traffic out of the building on the Atrium east side doors, and caution tape will be put up to prevent foot traffic in that part of the building.

Any questions? Please contact Mary Beth Lock, Associate Dean, Z. Smith Reynolds Library. lockmb@wfu.edu. We are sorry for this temporary inconvenience but are looking forward to a more reliable HVAC unit that will serve us for many years to come!
