ZSR Library is excited to announce some summer improvement projects to make the building even better! Updates to project dates and descriptions will be available here. We apologize for any inconvenience. Please email askzsr@wfu.edu or call 336-758-4932 with any questions.

Pardon our dust while we work on the following projects:

Elevator Replacement (May 22 – August 8)

The central elevator in ZSR Library is being replaced starting May 22. It will be offline until further notice. Barriers will be in place to alert patrons of the construction. You can access the two other elevators in the building on the east side of the Reynold Wing, or the southwest side of the Wilson Wing. See the map for details.

Public Services Desk Renovation (May 30 – August 15)

The Library Services Desk is being replaced starting May 30. All public service operations will remain functional, and will be temporarily relocated to the atrium area. Two service desks will be located at each side of the stairs leading from the 2nd floor lobby area to Level 4.

Reynolds 403 Renovation (May 22 – June 21)

Room 403, the room adjacent to the Auditorium, on Level 4 in ZSR is being renovated as a student study and events space. New paint, carpet, additional electrical outlets and new furniture is being added this summer. The room can be used as a reception and event space as needed, but except for those occasional needs, students should feel free to find a spot to study individually or in small groups.

The DVD viewing stations that were in 403 have now been relocated next to the DVD collection, which was moved to the 4th floor of the Wilson Wing (just across the footbridge across the Atrium).

New Cafe Opening! (May 22)

Our exclusive partnership with Camino has come to a conclusion. We are excited to announce that our new cafe will provide coffee and pastry offerings from well-known local Winston Salem and surrounding community companies; such as ByGood Coffee, Bobby Boy Bakeshop, Neomonde Bakery, Lenny Boy Brewing Co., Krispy Kreme Doughnuts, Vernon Produce, Village Juice & Kitchen, NataBelle’s Desserts and others that may become available throughout the year. New name launch will occur before the fall semester begins.
