The 2024 academic year was marked by significant growth and innovation in the Research, Instruction, and Outreach (RIO) team. The team increased library instruction sessions and personal research consultations, introduced new courses, and expanded outreach initiatives. Key highlights include the launch of the “Research After Wake” class for seniors, a record number of event attendees at our outreach events, and the successful integration of research guides into the Canvas learning management system, enhancing accessibility for students and faculty. The department’s achievements reflect a continued dedication to improving the academic and research experiences at Wake Forest University.
