Danielle Key, Outreach Coordinator
Tell us about what you do at ZSR Library?
I am the new Outreach Coordinator here in the Library. So far I have worked on leading Zotero workshops and information sessions. I also work to organize outreach events, assist with publicity, supervise student assistants, and communicate with campus partners.
What is your favorite book/podcast/movie?
I’m currently enjoying The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue by V. E. Schwab.
What is your favorite library story? (or memorable experience?)
As an undergraduate student at Wake Forest, my first-year residence hall was so close to the library that I could print there remotely! I loved exploring the different floors of ZSR and couldn’t live without the 24-hour room (it became a true safe haven during a 2:00 am fire alarm in the pouring rain).
What is one word that best describes your ZSR experience?
Welcoming.
Is there something you want to tell us about yourself?
As a student, I had many opportunities to engage with the library and enjoyed the Special Collections and Archives. I minored in Studio Art (specializing in printmaking) so seeing the letterpress and restoration process in ZSR was awesome. I loved my time as a student at Wake Forest and am so excited to help others navigate and explore all of our amazing resources and events!
