In 1999 Shakespeare scholar and director Ronald Watkins donated his papers to ZSR Special Collections. This gift came to Wake Forest largely through the efforts of WFU Theater professor James Dodding, a longtime friend of Watkins. Our mini-exhibit shows some highlights of the Watkins collection, documenting his early interest in Shakespearean original practices and his involvement in the reconstruction of the Globe Theatre.
