To create the Religious Intolerance project, Dr. Neal received a grant from the Chambers Family Fund for Entrepreneurship and a grant from the Wake Forest University Office of Entrepreneurship and Liberal Arts.The class, which met Spring Semester, 2008, is working on a project entitled: “Portraits of Hate, Lessons of Hope:Examining Religious Intolerance in America.”I met with students in Dr. Neal’s class to develop library exhibits.The exhibits in the library will contain images of religious hatred along with some historical context and analysis to begin a dialogue about this issue.Six students in Dr. Neal’s class worked with Craig Fansler in the ZSR Library to put the exhibit together.The exhibit was installed August 25th after the construction in the library entrance was completed.
