Hello everyone! My name is Gretchen Edwards, and I’m the new Cisco Fellow. You can find me in office 302B; I’m thrilled to be a part of the ZSR team. Over the course of the year I’ll be exploring how Cisco’s technologies can foster innovative learning and increase collaboration among our campus community. So far I’ve been specifically focused on collaboration tools such as TelePresence, WebEx (check out Lauren Pressley’s post) and Digital Signage. I look forward to working with students, faculty and staff on this initiative.
If you’d like to know more…I’m from Norfolk, Virginia and I absolutely love to sail. I graduated from Wake this past May with a major in History, minors in Journalism and Global Trade & Commerce Studies and the Certificate in Italian Studies. I enjoy traveling, running, scrapbooking and all 80s one-hit wonders. And of course, everything Demon Deacon!

We are delighted you are here with us for the next year! I’m especially delighted to hear you are a runner. Have you heard of the “Wake the Library 5K”? If not, you will be soon (says the co-race director, Susan).
Welcome! I worked at ODU in the late 90’s — and survived Hurricane Floyd!
