On Monday, March 28th, at the request of one of the Resident Advisers, Leigh Vogedes, Librarians from ZSR took ThinkPads to the lobby of the Babcock Residence and answered a variety of Reference questions from students as they passed. Ellen Daugman and I worked together from 1-2pm and then I covered the desk from 2-4pm. Leigh had banners posted announcing our presence and candy was provided for all passersby!

Over the course of the afternoon six students stopped with questions about paper topics and how to get started researching a topic, two stopped by with citation questions and one student need information on checking out Flip cameras. The students were very appreciative of our presence and we are planning to do it again later in the semester and look at other possible times that might better meet the needs of the students.
