The Z. Smith Reynolds Library proudly announces the opening of a new 118-seat auditorium on the fourth floor of the Reynolds Wing. The auditorium comes equipped with a DVD and Blu-ray player, taking optimal advantage of the high-definition projector and surround sound speakers. Standard classroom controls include a touch panel for projection from a laptop or other auxiliary equipment. Faculty can reserve the auditorium for events like lectures, symposia and film screenings, and it will also host the popular Library Lecture Series. To book the space or to review reservation policies, please visit the library website.

Next door to the auditorium is the new DVD center. DVDs are now located on open shelves for browsing. The room also features six DVD viewing stations.

Finally, Room 204 has undergone a transformation this summer. In addition to a much-needed renovation of seating, lighting, wiring and equipment, the room now boasts video conferencing capabilities using the Cisco TelePresence system. You may reserve the space online.
