Do you wish your students would turn in well-researched, perfectly cited papers? Then invite a librarian to your class! Library instruction sessions can be as short as a five-minute advertisement for the Personal Research Session service or as long as a multi-day, in-depth, intensive research program. Librarians can explain research strategies and introduce useful reference sources for an assigned project, discuss the evaluation of resources, and give tours of the library. Instruction can take place in the library or in your classroom. Librarians can also make a Research Guide based on your assignment to help students find online resources. All sessions are tailored to the specific needs of your course.
To request a session, stop by the Reference Desk, contact your subject liaison or use the request form.
