On Saturday, November 28th, the ZSR Library hosted our third annual Thanksgiving weekend meal in the ZSR atrium! We began this program three years ago with a Saturday pizza dinner, followed by a movie. Based on feedback from students that first year, we changed the event to a lunch last year, and we repeated that model this year! Our numbers grew from 52 students last year to 62 this year! With limited food options available on campus, this event makes a nice break for our students still on campus during the Thanksgiving break! Thanks to Dean Pyatt for sponsoring the event and helping us host on Saturday, along with Stephanie Bennett, Sarah Jeong, and Hu Womack.

It was nice to push food on students like someone’s grandmama, and the students were so appreciative! Thanks for letting me join in, Sarah and Hu!
