Library Partners Press announces the publication of new books this past semester, including:
- The Appalachian Trail, a re-boot of Professor of Biology Robert Browne’s long-out-of-print 1980 monograph;
- Psychological Tight Spaces, chronicling Dr. Shawn Ricks’ attempts to negotiate power, navigate oppression and resist domination in academia; and
- Nomad in the Land Called God, Chris Pesek’s collection of poems exploring themes of redemption, creation and the conundrums of faith.
Meanwhile, another collection of poems, Quite Happy by L.C. Williams, continues to receive critical acclaim, having been named one of the Best Indie Books of 2015 by Kirkus Reviews. In spring 2016, Library Partners Press will publish the History of Wake Forest, Volume 6, by Dr. Samuel Gladding – look for a launch party to coincide with Words Awake 2!
