Friday afternoons in the ZSR Library are usually quiet, but last Friday, October 1st, 2021 found the library buzzing with ZSR students and families! The Library sponsored a program on Mis/Disinformation online in Pugh Auditorium from 2-3pm with 42 attendees, an Open House in Special Collections and Archives from 3-5pm with 90 attendees, and eleven tours between 3-5pm for 76 students and families (shoutout to our volunteer tour leaders; Lauren Corbett, Joy Gambill, Amanda Kaufman, and Claire Nyles-Suer!) We hope to try this combination model of an open house and tours again next year!

Thanks Hu, SCA was glad to participate–the combination model was truly successful!
Thanks for this quick assessment and for spearheading the effort. It sounds like it was very successful!
The tour participants seemed quite appreciative of the experience! The SCA open house was a great way to end the tour. I had a question about a picture of the old 4th floor entrance to the library and it was so easy to say that Special Collections could help with that and we were headed that way. Thanks for sharing the numbers, Hu.
Impressive work, congrats to all who made Friday a success!
