On Friday, October 29th, from 7-9 pm, the ZSR Library hosted our second game night of the Fall 2022 semester! We had 71 people in attendance, and the event was co-sponsored with WFU E-sports, the Board Game Club, Rook & Bishop, the Dungeons & Dragons Club, and the Chinese Students & Scholars Association. The atrium and Wilson 4 were the most popular locations, with candy and pizza and a costume contest in addition to all the gaming!
Thanks to all the volunteers who made this event such a success, Tim Mitchell and David Link for helping with setup, Caroline McCallum for staffing the Welcome Desk, Daisha Bunn and Mary Beth Lock for managing check-in, Chris Burris for jumping in wherever help was needed all evening, Barry Davis for all the tech work to set up 477 for video gaming, for setting up the PA and acting as unofficial DJ all evening! Special thanks to ZSR Ambassadors Parker Beverly and Madi Shaver for managing and judging our annual costume contest and to Tsing Liu for the incredible photography you can see on the Wake Forest Photo Archive.
Meghan Webb and I realize that these events are a team effort and that it takes a village to run these events smoothly! (Just wait till you see what we’ve got planned for the Winter!)
