On Friday, September 16th, the Library hosted tours for alumni that focused on all the changes to ZSR in the last 50 years! Roz, Meghan, and Hu led 11 tours to 46 WFU Alumni from 2-4pm. The changes we described ranged from the theater moving to scales in the 1970’s to the addition of the Wilson wing and new entrance in the early 1990’s and the renovations since then that added Camino, the Writing Center, the Bridge, and the ZSR Auditorium as well as creating spaces like the Scholars Commons and study space on Wilson 4. We then ended all the tours in Special Collections and Archives where everyone could see wonderful items from the collection and the current exhibit! It was great fun to hear from alumni who graduated from the early 1960’s to 2020!

Congratulations on this excellent way to remind visitors about the continuing value of ZSR to new generations of students and alumni.
I love the tour name! Always great to have alumni return.
What fun! I imagine they were impressed by all our changes!
What a great way to engage with alums, and allow them to walk down memory lane while also showcasing improvements to ZSR!
