Last year, ZSR hosted a series of “Study Sundays” in ZSR during the first month of classes! We found that our numbers dropped precipitously after the first week, so this year we focused on one “Study Sunday” event on the first Sunday afternoon of the semester. Last year we had small giveaway items like ZSR pens, stickers, and dry-erase markers, but this year, thanks to donations from the ZSR Board of Visitors, we were able to “go big” with our free merchandise and offer students a choice of a ZSR cork-bottom coffee mug with travel lid, a ceramic planter with forget-me-not seeds and soil, or a bamboo phone/tablet stand! We also had ZSR Ambassadors who volunteered and gave a few tours to interested students! We saw over 200 students and learned so much from this event that we will use to make the event even better next year!
