On Friday, April 28th, ZSR Library hosted a celebratory end of the year pizza party to honor our student employees, without whom ZSR could not operate. As part of this annual celebration, Dean Tim Pyatt recognized our 2023 ZSR Student Employee of the Year, Jacquelinne Marroquin. Jacqui is a student employee in the Research, Instruction, and Outreach department and has been working at ZSR since fall 2021. She is instrumental in supporting a variety of tasks, from stocking our Little Free Libraries to wrapping books for Blind Date with a Book to facilitating Zotero workshops–even teaching on her own! As noted in her nomination, “Jacqui is always willing to contribute…and her work reflects a passion for connecting Wake students and community members to ZSR Library.” Congratulations, Jacqui!
